Back with a bang from Barcelona Bridal Week and Pronovias 2017 Catwalk show!

Hello girls!

Today on the blog we are updating you with what we have been up to this past few weeks!  Last Thursday we flew out for the twice yearly trip to beautiful Barcelona! I know, I know I hear all the sighs going ” its such an easy job”!! Yes Barcelona is beautiful and sunny etc but unfortunately we didn’t get to see very much of it this time around as we were so busy picking lovely new dresses for all you 2017 brides to be!!

S0 on Thursday evening when we landed we got picked up by one of the reps and were driven to see their brands and dresses at the showroom.  The dresses were stunning and with all our Serendipity brides in mind (always)! it was a very tough decision deciding if we know they will be good enough for you all or not! If only we could take you all with us! lol

On Friday morning we headed over to Barcelona Bridal week.. one word – AMAZING! This place was full of top international designers from all over the world!  The dresses were incredible and totally upped the game on bridal brands from back home!  We felt so lucky to there soaking the whole experience in.  With all long day off buying our main brands and also bridesmaids we went for some food and then back to the hotel to get ready in record timing for the Pronovias 2017 Catwalk show!

A star studded event to say the least! Pronovias once again enlisted Russian model Irana Shayk as the star of the show and also in attendance; Whitney Port from the Hills, Dutch model Jac Jagaciak, Russian model Kate Grigorieva and French model Cindy Bruna!  Pronovias stuck to pure immaculate white for this 2017 couture collection, embellishing gowns with delicate embroidery, silk thread and precious gemstones.  The collection focuses on fine fabrics and matches gowns with couture accessories.  They really do know how to put on a show, every last detail is thought of and what a pleasure it was sitting there to see it!  In the show finale Pronovias creative director, Herve Moreau took to the stage with Irana Shayk, who wore the Niara dress in embroidered crepe.

Back to bridal shopping on Saturday morning then for the Pronovias 2017 collection! See it really is all work and no play!! This collection that we are premium dealers for focuses on bohemian influences mixed with fairytale delightfulness and plain crepe fabrics with delicate hints of lace for the modern bride.

With lots of lovely new dresses picked that was it! Straight into the taxi for the aiport! An increditible experience as always in Barcelona, the dresses that we chose wont be instore until September time so keep an eye out for that! Below is some pictures from our fab weekend away.

Until next time happy wedding planning

Love, Linda and Ruth xxx
